Fortius quo fidelius - Strength through Loyalty
Wanderers are one of the most successful Rugby Clubs in the Newcastle and Hunter Rugby Union.
Since the inception of Wanderers in 1924, we have won many premierships in all grades and continue to do so today. In that time, no less than 10 club members have represented Australia, 19 have earned State guernseys and 35 have been selected for N.S.W. Country.
Centrally located close to the CDB, the club offers first class training facilities, coaching and support staff to complement its fine history of running rugby.
Our common goal is to build a state of allegiance, reliability, and dependability realised through the condition of being one harmonious entity. We call this Loyalty.
Through collective endeavor we apply qualities that makes our Club complete and function effectively. By virtue of the qualities of energy, enthusiasm, passion, and spirit we withstand and deal with adversary and prevail; we go from one success or achievement to another and get progressively better. We call this Strength.
