Wanderers RFC is one of the most successful Rugby Union Clubs in the Newcastle and Hunter Rugby Union.
Originally founded as GPS Old Boys in 1924 the name Wanderers Rugby Football Club was adopted in 1925.
Wanderers promotes and supports the study and practice of the latest methods of rugby coaching and training. This provides an environment for players to develop and improve the quality of their rugby consistent with their playing ambitions. We compete in junior and senior men’s and women’s competitions within the Newcastle and Hunter region.
Quality social events are staged throughout the year for the benefit and enjoyment of Club members and local rugby enthusiasts.
