Welcome to the 2012 season!

We’re following on from the highly successful seasons of 2010 & 2011 when
Wanderers were Hunter Junior Rugby Club Champions.

REGISTRATION DAYS 2012

Will be held at No 5 Sportsground (registration area next to netball courts and playground) on:

1. Friday 3rd February 2012 4.30-6.30 pm (the main day) – Sausage sizzle

2. Sunday 19th February 2012 3pm-5pm

Please check your details on the registration form and update these as required (particularly email addresses) before giving this form back to the Registrar (Lis Hedges 0419 570 470) at Registration Day. New Registrations please bring passport or Original Birth certificate.

REGISTRATION FEES 2012

• $190 per player from Under 9’s upwards

• $110 per player Under 8 (and younger) 

This season Registration fee will include:

1. Free Club Shorts with embroided Wanderers Club Logo
2. Free Club Socks in appropriate sizing
3. Free Club Polo Shirt for match days
4. Free Team Photo

Payment Options:

1. Eftpos will be not be available Cash or cheque on the day

2. Direct Debit: Account Details for Wanderers Juniors BSB 637-000 Account # 780276223 (remember to use "players names" as vital information. Bring receipt or deposit slip

3. A payment plan over time for registration fees is available if required. Please talk to the Registrar for more information.

Your registration will not be complete until the Registrar has your completed form returned and payment has been made.

All players must be registered before they can either train or play for insurance purposes.

New players are always welcome. If you have a friend who would like to play, they need to come to a Registration Day and bring their original birth certificate and a parent/ guardian who is able to sign their registration form and payment.

AGE GROUPS and WEIGHDOWNS

The Hunter Junior Rugby Union (HJRU) age groups are based on the calendar year ie from the 1^st January to 31^st December.  

Therefore, if you are born in 1998, you would normally play in the U 14’s.

Please talk to the Junior President or a team coach if a player would like to consider playing up or weighing down. Weighdown forms will be available at Registration

THE PLAYERS

Team training will begin in February 2011.
The venue for team training will be either at the No 5 ground, #2 Sporstground
or Islington Park – all TBA until confirmed

SEASON KICKOFF- ROUND 1 will be later this year
and starts after Easter on Saturday 28^th April.

The draw will be finalised in mid-March and you will be notified by your team manager.
